On the night of October 25-26, the terrorist country Russia targeted the Kyiv region with kamikaze drones. The attack killed a woman, injured a child, and damaged residential buildings.

This was reported by the press service of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine. Residents of the region were urged not to ignore the air raid alert.

"In Irpin, a two-storey garage attached to a hostel caught fire due to falling debris. The firefighters managed to extinguish the fire at 1:12. In Boryspil district, a private house and a garage were damaged, and windows in a two-storey dormitory were smashed," the rescuers said.

SES added that the Russian attack also caused a fire on the roof of a residential building in Obukhiv district, which was also quickly extinguished.

According to Ruslan Kravchenko, head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, as of 9:00 a.m., 15 private houses, 3 shops, one apartment building and 3 utility rooms in 4 districts of the region were damaged as a result of the fall of the debris of the downed enemy targets. Three cars and a power line were damaged too. There were no hits to critical and residential infrastructure.

"Unfortunately, a woman born in 1968 died as a result of the attack. She was injured in the abdomen due to the falling debris of enemy targets. In addition, a 13-year-old boy sustained minor injuries as a result of the attack. All the necessary assistance was provided on the spot," added Kravchenko.

As a reminder, on the evening of Friday, October 25, Russia staged another UAV attack against Ukraine. Explosions were heard in Kyiv and the region, and air defense systems were working. An enemy drone hit a high-rise building in the capital, damaging apartments on the 17th, 18th, and 19th floors. Six people were injured and a 14-year-old girl was killed.

As previously reported, powerful explosions occurred in Dnipro on the evening of October 25. It happened during the air raid alert announced in the region. It is known about 19 injured and three dead. A woman and a child were rescued from the rubble.
