Scotland is a country of mists, mountains, and lochs. Small towns are real oases of silence and unity with nature. Unique landscapes, fresh air, authentic architecture, and the absence of tourists make remote Scottish areas real gems for an unforgettable vacation.

Tobermory is a small town in the west of Scotland, in the Argyll and Bute district, located in the northeastern part of the Isle of Man. The Express publication told why it is worth visiting Tobermory and what makes it unique.

Tobermory is famous not only for its incredible landscapes but also for whale and dolphin watching.

Tobermory can be seen from afar: bright buildings stand on the shore of a quiet bay, and picturesque pristine nature surrounds it.

Every day, boats leave the city to take visitors to see dolphins, seals, and even whales. Such trips can last from one hour to seven days.

Although Tobermory is a paradise for wildlife lovers, the town itself offers a lot of entertainment. There are many shops selling everything from chocolate and honey to soap and books. You can dine at local restaurants and cafes. Main Street has hotels and guest houses, as well as a great selection of local arts and crafts.

The city also has the Mull Museum, a distillery, a large aquarium and a golf course for the most discerning tourists.

Scotland is also famous for its castles. There is Glengorm Fortress nearby and other beautiful historical sites, such as the lighthouse in Rubha nan Gall or the stones in Baliscate.
