"Only Shakhtar has such players". Surkis talks about strengthening Dynamo

The president of Dynamo Kyiv, Ihor Surkis, intends to strengthen his club in the winter offseason, but admits that it will be extremely difficult. According to Igor Surkis, there are practically no candidates on the domestic market who can strengthen the White and Blues.

"We will also consider the domestic market, but I don't see any players who could significantly strengthen us. Only Shakhtar have such players. We have young people who should be eager to join the first team," PROFUTBOL Digital quoted Surkis as saying.

Dynamo's president does not want to sign players just for the sake of mass appeal.

"I am ready to strengthen the team, but with those players who will really enhance the game, not just for show. Now it is very difficult to find players who would like to come here. We will do our best to make sure that all the transfers that the head coach needs are made. We have a very long list of people whom we were going to invite before the war and now we want to invite, but not all of them are ready to come to Ukraine," added Ihor Surkis.

As OBOZ.UA previously reported, in an interview, Surkis criticized the refereeing of his team's match against Obolon in the 17th round of the Premier League draw.

As a reminder, Dynamo beat Obolon in the final match of 2023. After the game, Surkis announced that Oleksandr Shovkovsky was no longer the team's acting head coach.
