"Only a blind man could not see": Surkis was angry with the referee of the match Dynamo – Obolon

Surkis commented on Dynamo's victory

The president of Dynamo Kyiv, Ihor Surkis, criticized the refereeing of his team's match with Obolon in the 17th round of the Premier League. The "White and Blues" boss expressed dissatisfaction with the fact that the match referee Viktor Kopiyevskyш did not notice the rudeness of the "Brewers" players.

Surkis said this emotionally in a commentary to the YouTube channel Profootball Digital. The Dynamo president emphasized that Obolon's players acted very rudely, and the referee ignored the violations on their part. In particular, Kopiyevsky only awarded an 11-meter penalty kick to "Brewers" after Dynamo captain Vitalii Buyalskyi was knocked down by a video assistant (VAR).

"It was a derby of principle. But they could step on their ankles every minute. Only a blind person could not see the penalty on Buyalsky. I have half the team with torn ankles. This is how they play football. Now the doctors are working on Brazhko and Buyalskyi..." Surkis said.

As a reminder, Dynamo beat Obolon in the final match of 2023. After the game, Surkis announced that Oleksandr Shovkovskyi was no longer the team's acting head coach.
