What do "chocolate milk" nails look like?
Unlike regular brown nails, chocolate milk nails got their name because they look like chocolate syrup mixed with milk. Just like real chocolate milk, the final shade can range from milky brown to darker, but it will always have a creamy appearance.
"The trend is to use rich brown colors reminiscent of milk chocolate," says Juli Russell, a manicure expert. She notes that brown nails were in trend in the fall and are not going to go out of style in the winter. The nail artist calls this manicure a shade of "old luxury."
