New SUV based on the inexpensive Peugeot revealed under the American brand

Inexpensive pickup Peugeot was the basis for a new SUV under the American brand Dodge. Together the companies are part of the Stellantis concern. The new Ram 1200 2024 from Dodge was shown in official photos.

Concern Stellantis, which Ram is a part of together with Fiat, Citroen, Opel, Alfa Romeo, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Peugeot brands, often distributes developments between its companies. Actually, the new 1200 pickup truck is strongly related to Peugeot.

The new SUV is actually a copy of the Peugeot Landtrek pickup and will compete in the market with the Toyota Hilux, Nissan Frontier and Chevrolet S10 Max. Previously, a similar re-badging was done to the new Fiat Titano, which is also based on the Landtrek.

The novelty differs from Peugeot first of all by the design of the front grille. And headlights, bumpers and all body panels were taken from the donor.

The same applies to the technical part. Buyers will be offered a choice of rear-wheel drive transmission or all-wheel drive. And also with a powerful gasoline engine with 210 hp and 236 Nm of torque.
