The new VW Tayron crossover for the 2025 model year has attracted attention as an inexpensive model for families. The car has recently been officially declassified, and now it has become even closer to buyers and has gone into production.

This was reported on the automaker's website. Production of the Volkswagen Tayron started in Wolfsburg, Germany, at a joint plant with the 3rd generation VW Tiguan.

The live premiere of the car took place at the Paris Motor Show. The new Volkswagen Tayron model will be sold in Europe, replacing the 7-seater Tiguan Allspace variant.

In general, Volkswagen models have a fairly simple design and are all made in a common style. Therefore, the new Volkswagen Tayron has a familiar appearance.

The difference is in the dimensions. The increased wheelbase (2791 mm) and body length (4770 mm), together with the extended rear doors, will offer a practical, spacious interior with three rows of seats for a large family. Depending on the choice, the power plants will provide from 160 to 270 hp. Gasoline, diesel, and hybrid versions are available.
