The long-awaited Honda Passport SUV for the 2026 model year is an inexpensive car in the segment of modern SUVs. This car was shown online in its best modification. What turned out is quite unexpected.
The new 4th generation Honda Passport is based on a modified platform of the popular Honda CR-V crossover and is technically close to the Pilot SUV, but the suspension has been redesigned and strengthened. The Digimods DESIGN channel showed a special version that actually departs from an off-road vehicle.
The designer tried on the famous Type-R nameplate. It is given to the most powerful sports modifications of Honda models. However, this is unusual for a Japanese SUV. The author of the images also tried to make the car's design sportier. Currently, the manufacturer has no plans to modify the Honda Passport Type-R.

The car runs on a powerful 3.5-liter gasoline V6 with 285 horsepower. The unit is combined with a 10-speed automatic transmission and works as part of the Honda i-VTM4 all-wheel drive transmission with torque vectoring.
The price of the Honda Passport is up to $40,000 for the base variant. It will go on sale in 2025.
