On November 18, El Salvador will host the final of one of the largest beauty contests, "Miss Universe 2023", where Ukrainian singer, model, and volunteer Anhelina Usanova will represent Ukraine. On November 16, the grand show will traditionally feature a presentation of national costumes. This year, the representative of our country will appear in a luxurious and symbolic image of "Mother Berehynia".

The Miss Universe Ukraine National Committee presented photos and videos of the national costume. It became known that some elements of the outfit were designed and printed on a 3D printer.

The costume called "Mother Berehynia" was created by the MÜ production team, which collaborates with many well-known Ukrainian artists, to develop concert outfits for them. The development and production of the national costume for Miss Universe took about 1.5 months.

It took 30-35 meters of chiffon and organza fabrics to create a spectacular and symbolic dress. Some elements, as mentioned above, were printed on a 3D printer. Approximately 45,000 decorative stones were used for decoration. On the fabric, you can see a print in the form of white clouds on a blue canvas, symbolizing a peaceful sky without missiles.

The costume itself is made in the colors of the Ukrainian flag. However, instead of yellow, we see gold. This is a kind of armor that also signifies the strength and indestructibility of our people.

In addition to the dress itself, special attention should be paid to additional elements. For example, the figure of a golden angel, which Anhelina holds in her hands in the promo photo. It is a symbol of the life of every Ukrainian child.

"Children do not start wars, but they are the ones who are unable to defend themselves. This year's national costume is our dedication to the great, sacred, and unconditional maternal love and the defenselessness of children in the face of war. Mothers all over Ukraine are begging and dreaming of a clean and protected sky without missiles. They pray for the lives of their children, who are being ruthlessly taken by the war. The world must remember the horrific statistics to protect Ukrainian children," commented Anna Filimonova, President of Miss Universe Ukraine.

Today, on November 9, a music video for Anhelina Usanova's new song Peace was also released. In the video, the representative of Ukraine at the contest appeared in her national costume. In this way, she wanted to once again draw the attention of the international community to the war in her homeland.

At the welcome party in El Salvador, Anhelina sat at the same table as a Russian woman. Apparently, the contest organizers are once again trying to create the illusion of "friendship" between participants from hostile countries.
