More than 10 million tons: Poland, blocking Ukrainian grain, allows large volumes of Russian grain through
While the Poles are blocking the import of Ukrainian grain, Russian grain is entering the country in large volumes. As much as 12 million tons of products were imported from the terrorist country of the Russian Federation.
At the same time, only 4.3 million tons of Ukrainian grain entered the country. This was reported by the National Security and Defense Council's Center for Countering Disinformation.
"How much Russian grain was imported to Poland in 2022-2023? 12 million tons. How many millions of tons did Ukraine import? 4.3 million tons," said Alina Bondarchuk, head of the Center's Disinformation Collection and Monitoring Department. She also added that the farmers' actions in Poland are financed by the Kremlin.
It should be noted that the border with Ukraine is being blocked not only by farmers, but also by truckers who are against the EU's preferential conditions for trucks from Ukraine.
The State Customs Service said that on Sunday, February 18, truck traffic will be blocked in two directions at the Yahodyn-Dorohusk checkpoint. Farmers from Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, and France are going to join the protest of Polish farmers.
Yesterday, the queue to enter the Yagodyn-Dorohusk checkpoint was 550 trucks long.
As OBOZ.UA previously reported, Ukraine may ban the import of food from the neighboring country due to the blockade of its borders by Polish farmers. This may be a response to the deterioration of relations and protests.
