"More expensive than all of us put together": former Bosnia player speaks about Ukraine before the semifinals of Euro 2024

Former Bosnia and Herzegovina footballer Marko Topic has called Ukraine the clear favorites in the semifinals of the 2024 UEFA European Championship playoffs. The former Wolfsburg striker noted that the Blue and Yellows have better players who play in top teams.

Topic said this in an interview with Sport Centar. As an example, the former footballer, who played 24 matches for the national team, cited the English legionnaires Mykhailo Mudryk, Oleksandr Zinchenko, Vitalii Mykolenko and Illia Zabarnyi, as well as our team's goalkeepers.

"Ukraine has very high-quality players in every line. Zinchenko, Mudryk, Mykolenko, and Zabarnyi are more expensive than all our players combined. They have the best goalkeepers, they are from Real Madrid and Benfica. Dovbyk and Tsygankov are a bright tandem in the Spanish league. It is safe to say that this is a very serious team. But only on the field will we see who is stronger. I believe that we will show that each player will go beyond their capabilities by 100%. Good luck, guys," Topic said.
