Makeup artists named the perfect lip color to try this fall

When it comes to lipstick shades for the cold season, our eyes are usually drawn to berry bright colors. However, you don't have to follow the rules. Sometimes you can and even should experiment.

British VOGUE talked to beauty experts and learned about a new sophisticated lipstick color - deep nude. "Using your natural tone palette is incredibly chic and stylish because it only emphasizes your own tone, adding depth to your features," says Zoe Taylor, makeup artist and Chanel representative in the UK.

Nude shades have many advantages over berry shades: they suit any lip shape, look neat, and don't require constant makeup control, like bright colors that can be easily smudged. Since nude shades differ by one or two shades from the natural color of your lips, it is enough to go a little beyond the contour to create a comfortable, yet elegant makeup look.

If you are looking for a makeup look that can easily transition from day to evening, then a deep nude is the perfect option. To make the transformation successful, apply a moisturizing balm to your lips in the morning as an element of daytime makeup, and for evening makeup, draw a contour with the chosen nude shade. Eyes, cheeks and eyelashes can remain as they were, although a little powder may be needed.

Choosing a nude lipstick can be like hunting for the perfect pair of jeans. The good news is that the perfect "deep nude" for your skin tone is simply a matter of choosing between two or three shades deeper than it.

"The right shade can make your eyes look brighter and your skin texture smoother, which is perfect for fall," says Taylor. For pale skin, this can be a sepia brown shade, while olive skin tones will look good in shades of milk chocolate. Meanwhile, darker skin tones can choose from any color: from red to dark brown.
