The new low-cost Toyota Urban Cruiser crossover will be the company's cheapest electric vehicle on the global market. This model is based on the Suzuki e-Vitara, which was officially declassified earlier.

Details about the car are reported by Motor1. The new Toyota Urban Cruiser for the 2025 model year has already been shown in official photos. The similarity to the Suzuki model is obvious – both cars are developments within the same project. Interestingly, the budget Toyota Urban Cruiser already exists in some markets, but it is a completely different car.

The front end with geometrically shaped headlights was made in the brand's new style. An electric car requires less cooling compared to cars with an internal combustion engine, so there is only a small air intake in the front bumper.

The plastic, unpainted decor around the body has two functions. First, it protects the beautiful exterior panels from scratches and minor damage. Secondly, it emphasizes the brutal, almost off-road styling.

The body length is 4.28 m, width is 1.8 m, and height is 1.64 m. It is equipped with battery packs with a capacity of 49 and 61 kWh, which will provide a range of 400-500 km.

The new Toyota Urban Cruiser will be equipped with one and two electric motors to choose from – 144-174 and 184 hp, respectively. In the second case, all-wheel drive is available. The estimated price of the Toyota Urban Cruiser 2025 in the basic version is about 25,000 euros.
