Around 10 a.m. local time (5 a.m. Kyiv time), the head of the Kochenyovsky district reported that, according to the district department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, "ten people from the category of those who had previously left the unit without permission left the territory of the unit in the working village of Kochenyovo ."

Within half an hour, they left the village by taxi. No crimes were recorded on the territory of the district, Antipov said.

According to him, four people were detained "outside the Kochenyovsky district".

Later, the Russian media reported that there were 12 fugitive soldiers and three more were detained.

Five are on the wanted list.

According to one version, they could have gone to the neighboring Kemerovo region.

Preliminarily, most of those who escaped are residents of the Krasnoyarsk region.

They are reportedly unarmed.

One of the fugitives, Viktor Sergeev, told the independent Telegram channel ASTRA about the reason for his escape:

"It's just that the unit's command treated us badly. All the relevant documents, videos, and voice messages were sent to certain structures. That's all, the case is being considered."

He did not answer other questions.
