Lindsay Lohan stars in another Netflix rom-com: when will the movie be released

The holiday season is about to start, and the best way to get in the Christmas spirit is to enjoy an atmospheric romantic comedy. Netflix has announced that it will release a Christmas rom-com "Our Little Secret."

The main role will be played by the famous and very popular actress Lindsay Lohan in the 2000s. The details were reported by Variety.

"Our Little Secret" will be released just before the start of the holiday season on November 27.

The roles will also be played by:

•  Tony-award winner Kristin Chenoweth;
• "Pretty Little Liars" alum Ian Harding;
• Tim Meadows from the cast of "SNL" and "Mean Girls."

The plot is simple, but it's perfect for a romantic comedy. The story centers on two exes who have to spend Christmas together after they realize that their new partners are siblings.

The film was directed by Stephen Herek, known for "The Mighty Ducks." Mike Elliot and Lisa Gooding ("Bring It On: In It to Win It)" produced, and  Hailey DeDominicis wrote the screenplay.

Lohan is returning to the big screen and has begun an active collaboration with Netflix. In 2022, she starred in the movie "Falling for Christmas," and this year she released the spring movie "Irish Wish." This will be Lohan's third Netflix romance in two years.

By the way, the movie "The Perfect Match" is gaining popularity on the platform. A star cast, a detective story with murder, tense relationships between the characters, the setting of an expensive wedding, and a little humor are what make the series special and interesting for viewers.
