Lazy "Napoleon" is a cake made without kneading and rolling out the dough, but it is practically no different from the classic version of this dessert. It takes several times less time to prepare, and the difference is almost imperceptible.

A food blogger with the nickname evgeniakarpa shared how to make a lazy "Napoleon" on Instagram. She also offered a recipe for the perfect cream.

Ingredients

  • Milk – 1 liter
  • Sugar – 250 gr
  • Vanilla sugar – 1 sachet
  • Eggs – 4 pcs
  • Flour – 60 gr
  • Butter – 60 gr
  • Puff pastry – 1 kg

Method of preparation.

1. Prepare the cream. Pour sugar and vanilla sugar into the milk. Put it on low heat to dissolve the sugar. Do not bring it to a boil.

2. Mix the eggs thoroughly with the flour so that there are no lumps.

3. Pour this mixture into the milk in a thin stream and stir constantly until thickened.

4. Cover with foil and leave to cool.

5. Now let's move on to the dough. Cut it into squares. Put them on the parchment. Bake at 170-180C for about 15 minutes.

6. Make crumbs from some of the squares to sprinkle on the cake.

7. The squares for the cake need to be disassembled into layers.

8. Combine the squares with the cream and mix.

9. Put it in a mold and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, and preferably overnight.

10. Decorate the cake with chopped squares.
