  • rice - 125 g +250 g of water
  • onion - 1 pc
  • carrot - 1 pc
  • butter - 70 g for frying
  • cabbage - 400-500 g
  • minced meat mix - 500 g
  • spices to taste
  • sunflower oil to grease the baking dish

Ingredients for the sauce:

  • tomatoes in their own juice - 400 g
  • sour cream - 200 g
  • salt and pepper - to taste

1. Rinse the rice well and cover it with cold water.

2. Salt lightly and cook for 5 minutes under a closed lid after boiling.

Add the cabbage to carrots and onions.

3. Remove from heat and leave for 15 minutes to let the rice cook.

4. Cut the onion into small cubes and grate the carrot on a coarse grater.

6. Melt butter in a frying pan and fry the onion until soft and transparent.

7. Add carrots and simmer for 3 minutes.

8. Add the shredded cabbage and simmer together until the cabbage is soft (about 7 minutes).

9. Season the vegetables with salt and pepper to taste.

10. In a bowl, mix the rice, cooled minced meat and roast. Add spices.
