The new Kia EV3 2024 crossover is an inexpensive electric model. To fully reflect the environmental focus of the car, the manufacturer built the car with natural mushrooms and apples.
Electric cars are positioned as the next generation of cars, although the production, recycling, and materials used are very toxic, which is harmful to the environment. The new Kia EV3 partially compensated for this with natural components. Details are reported by Carscoops.
The Kia EV3 Study Car prototype used 22 recycling technologies and natural materials. Thus, the steering wheel and front panel in the interior are made of leatherette made from apples. Elsewhere, there are elements based on mushroom waste. It is noted that these materials are not edible.
The price of the Kia EV3 is about $30,000. In the future, the line will be expanded with more expensive options. The new Kia electric crossover has a modern design with spectacular exterior lighting and many intersecting planes and geometric lines on the body.
The EV3 electric crossover is powered by a 204-liter power plant. The 81 kWh battery pack provides 600 km of range. There is a 58 kWh battery. Over time, a more powerful modification will appear in the lineup. The main rivals are Volvo EX30, Smart #1, and Peugeot E-2008.
