Kia's inexpensive Toyota RAV4 rival shown in live photos

The new low-cost Kia Sportage crossover for the 2026 model year was shown in live photos after the official premiere. This is one of the main rivals of the Toyota RAV4. The Korean car has a bright design and modernity on its side.

The new Kia Sportage has a completely different front end. The bumpers and exterior lighting have been replaced, and new wheels have been added. The multimedia system was updated and the monitors were enlarged. The lineup includes gasoline variants (187 hp), a hybrid (231 hp) and a plug-in hybrid Kia Sportage PHEV (268 hp).

The Kia Sportage 2026 model year is equipped with a fingerprint scanner, a semi-autonomous driving system and a special Baby&Toddler mode that is characterized by a smooth ride. The price of the Kia Sportage in the home Korean market starts at $20,600. However, the car will be more expensive on the global market. For example, the current model in the United States costs at least $27,000. This is something to consider.
