The sale of Olha Kharlan's saber, which she used to deliver the winning shot in the team competition final of the Paris Olympics, was used to buy 16 "Sabre" turrets. A total of UAH 11,679,254 was raised.

Each of the auction participants could also compete for a flag signed by Kharlan and the opportunity to go for coffee with her. The winning bid of UAH 10 million was made by "Metalist 1925."

"The Sabre can bring victory not only in fencing competitions but also on the battlefield. The 5th Brigade, 25th Airborne Brigade, and 57th Mechanized Brigade will receive 16 Sabre automated turrets, which you donated during the auction of artifacts from Olia Kharlan, the main one being the Olympic champion's saber," said Serhii Prytula, whose charitable foundation organized the auction.

As OBOZ.UA previously reported, Olha Kharlan won gold in the final of the 2024 Olympic Games in team sabre fencing and became the sixth medalist at the Olympic Games. This makes her the most titled Ukrainian athlete in the history of our country's performances at the Olympics.

On August 22, 2024, Kharlan was awarded the National Legend of Ukraine award. Olha came to this solemn ceremony in an exquisitely embroidered dress from a Ukrainian brand called 2KOLYORY.
