Institute of Journalism of Kyiv National University of Shevchenko damaged by UAVs in Kyiv: photos

On the night of November 3, Russian troops attacked Kyiv with Shaheds. As a result of the attack, the building of the Institute of Journalism of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv was damaged.

This was reported by a graduate of the university, Olena Zakharchenko. Meanwhile, the Institute of Journalism announced that until November 9, classes will be held remotely.

"For those who studied at the Institute of Journalism of Shevchenko University, the building was damaged after the shahed. Come and help. We are now cleaning up and carrying broken glass. And you can share the post so that others can see it," Zakharchenko wrote.

She also posted a photo showing broken glass in one of the windows of the institute.

The extent of the damage to the Institute of Journalism is not yet known. An official statement on the consequences of the attack is currently being prepared.

Meanwhile, the next week of classes will be held remotely.

"To the attention of the participants of the educational process: from November 4 to November 9, classes will be held remotely," the institute's website said.

As reported, Russian drones were shot down in Kyiv on the morning of November 3. The falling debris and blast wave damaged the road, lighting poles, and windows in several buildings.

It was also reported that several fires broke out in the Kyiv region as a result of the UAV attack.
