In September, a new train will be launched in Ukraine on an important route: ticket price

Ukrzaliznytsia has launched a permanent train between Kyiv and Odesa. It will be a daytime train, operated by Intercity+.

This was reported by the company itself. They noted that

• the train was decided to be launched due to the steady demand for tickets among passengers;
• the train will make its first trip on September 6;
• it received the number 763/764.

"We have weighed the pros and cons, assessed the demand, and decided that nothing will stop the train, whose time has come. "Ukrzaliznytsia appoints the Intercity+ train between Kyiv and Odesa on a regular basis," the statement said.

Train schedule Kyiv – Odesa

According to Ukrzaliznytsia, the train will depart from Kyiv on September 6 on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays at 14:56. It will arrive in Odesa at 22:28.

From Odesa, the train will depart from September 7 on Thursdays, Saturdays, and Mondays at 6:10. It will arrive in the capital at 13:49.

How much do train tickets from Kyiv to Odesa cost?

For the September 6 train service from Kyiv to Odesa, tickets are sold for 1st and 2nd class cars. Their prices are as follows:

• 1st class – 983 UAH;
• 2nd class – 504 UAH.

On the September 7 train from Odesa to Kyiv, tickets are also available for 1st and 2nd class cars. They cost:

• 1st class – 897 UAH;
• 2nd class – UAH 461.

As reported by OBOZ.UA, at the same time, Ukrzaliznytsia will create an inclusive car for group transportation of passengers using wheelchairs. It is expected that the car will have 4 separate compartments, each of which will be able to comfortably accommodate 2 wheelchair users and their attendants.
