Hyundai to launch super-popular N Vision 74: first official details
Rumors about the N Vision 74 update have been circulating among car enthusiasts for a long time. Hyundai has finally confirmed plans to put its very popular N Vision 74 concept into production. The announcement was part of Hyundai's plans to launch 21 new models by 2030.
The auto giant will introduce the N Vision 74 as one of its future high-performance electric vehicles. The details were revealed by Motor1 publication.
Currently, there is very limited information about the future novelty. The manufacturer has not released any data about the drivetrain or performance characteristics for the production N Vision 74.
We can only speculate whether Hyundai will retain the concept's 671 horsepower hydrogen fuel cell or switch to an all-electric drivetrain. Given the lack of mass adoption of hydrogen power, experts are betting on the latter.
Back in December 2023, there were rumors that Hyundai was planning to launch the N Vision 74 in very limited numbers, only 100 planned units (70 for road use and another 30 for racing).
The production N Vision 74 will develop 800 hp through a hydrogen powertrain with dual electric motors. Another report from The Korean Car Blog claims that the figure will be closer to 775 hp. Either way, the car's speed will be pretty decent.
Hyundai has not released any details regarding the production timeline, except that the car will be produced by 2030. The Korean Car Blog suggests that production will begin in 2026, and that research and development of the car is already gaining momentum.
