How to prepare simple tangerine pie that will become a real star of the New Year table
If you want to make a festive yet simple dessert, this recipe is exactly what you need. A famous chef has revealed how to turn budget and simple ingredients into a real work of culinary art in just a few minutes.
We are talking about Volodymyr Yaroslavskyi. It was he who shared a detailed recipe for a tangerine pie that will become a real star of the New Year's table on Instagram.
Ingredients for a 26 cm baking dish
- eggs - 2 pcs
- sugar - 200+25 g
- oil - 60 g
- butter - 60 g
- orange juice - 160 ml
- flour - 340 g
- baking powder - 10 g
- nutmeg - 1 g
- zest
- apples - 2 pcs
- tangerines - 4-5 pcs
Method of preparation
1. Beat the eggs with sugar, add warm butter and oil melted together in a saucepan, and mix.
2. Add the zest of one orange and squeeze the juice.
3. Sift flour and baking powder on top and grate in nutmeg (about 1/3).
4. Peel and clean two soft apples. Cut them into small cubes and add to the dough.
5. Put the parchment on the bottom of the mold, brush it with a little oil and sprinkle with sugar.
6. Put the thinly sliced tangerines with the peel on top.
7. Pour the dough over, spreading it closer to the edges. When baked, the cake will rise and level out.
8. Bake at 175 degrees for 45-50 minutes. Check the readiness with a toothpick - the dough should not remain on it.
9. Take out the cake, let it cool and turn it over onto a plate.
