  • room temperature butter - 180 g
  • sugar - 140 g
  • a pinch of salt
  • room temperature eggs - 2 pcs
  • cottage cheese - 180 g
  • flour - 430 g
  • baking powder - 10 g
  • cinnamon - 3 g
  • dried ginger - 2 g
  • nuts - 100 g
  • candied fruit - 300 g

1. Rinse the dried fruit well and add the juice of three oranges and 100 g of cognac or rum.

2. You can also add zest of one orange. The main thing is to fill the candied fruit with liquid to the top (if it is not enough, you can add cold boiled water). Leave for at least one night or even longer.

3. For the dough, beat butter with sugar for 4-5 minutes and add one egg at a time, kneading each time until smooth.
