How to polish metal furniture: the safe way

In order to protect any metal surface from dirt and moisture and make it resistant to corrosion, you need one simple tool - car wax, which can be purchased at any car store. It polishes the metal and creates a waterproof coating to prevent scratches and rust. And you don't need any special tools or special conditions to use it.

The correct method of using a particular product should be indicated on its packaging. But in general, the procedure for car waxing is as follows: you need to clean and degrease the surface you want to polish and dry it completely. After that, apply a little wax on a soft cloth and spread it well over the entire surface, polishing it to a shine in a circular motion. Then allow the product to dry for a little while and you can use your furniture right away.

Renew this protective coating from time to time. Keep an eye on the surface, and if you notice that the wax shine is fading, you can apply an additional small layer of wax.

However, keep in mind that this polishing method is not suitable for all metal surfaces. In the kitchen, it is better not to use car wax in areas where it can come into contact with food - on countertops, in sinks, and even on refrigerator doors.
