Ingredients:
- beetroot
- bay leaves
- black peppercorns
- allspice
- cloves
Ingredients for the marinade per liter of water:
- salt - 1 tbsp.
- sugar - 1 tbsp
- vinegar - 70 ml.
Method of preparation:
1. Wash and cook the beets until tender.
2. Peel and cut into cubes.
3. Sterilize the jars and lids.
4. Put 1 bay leaf, 2-3 peas of allspice, 10 pieces of black pepper, and 1-2 cloves on the bottom of the jar (0.5 liters).
5. Then put the chopped beets and pour dill over the jars.
6. Cover with lids and leave for 10 minutes.
7. Then drain the water from the beets into a saucepan, and add water to make 1 liter.
8. Add salt, sugar and vinegar and boil.
9. As soon as the marinade boils, pour into jars and tighten the lids.
9. Put the jars upside down, wrap them in a blanket, and leave them to cool completely.
