The sun in warm seasons not only provides warmth, but can also harm our skin and eyes. That's why SPF and sunglasses become a must-have for everyone.

However, glasses can damage our makeup and leave unsightly pink spots on our nose. However, you shouldn't give up on them because of this, because Florida makeup artist Jada Collins shared an effective life hack on Instagram that will help you cope with this problem.

Combining sunglasses and makeup can be a real challenge, as the accessory slides over the foundation, leaving marks on the bridge of your nose. This can ruin not only our appearance but also our mood for the whole day.

Luckily, there is an ingenious way to retrofit your glasses so they never ruin your makeup again.

Life hack to stop glasses from ruining your makeup

To use this method you will need:

  • Scissors;
  • Nail file;
  • Glue for eyelashes;
  • An old spatula.

Collins shared a video with over 135 thousand views in which she modernizes her sunglasses for the summer season.

First, she takes an old small powder sponge and cuts small strips out of it. Then she uses a nail file to slightly damage the coating on the glasses where they touch her nose.

This is done to increase the adhesion, because later the strips from the sponge will need to be glued to the scratched area.

Now the sponge serves as a barrier between the sunglasses and Collins' makeup. This life hack is invisible, but it effectively protects the foundation on the bridge of your nose from damage.
