Where to start

Prepare all the products you will need. These can be foams and aerosols for cleaning textiles, leather and plastic, polishes and liquids for glass. Also, before cleaning, remove all large debris such as papers or cups, and vacuum the surfaces. Crumbs, sand, and dust can mix with the products during cleaning and leave stubborn stains. Therefore, you need to clean the interior when it is already clean. Follow this algorithm.

The ceiling

If you have any stains on the ceiling, do not try to clean them with soapy water. This may cause the fabric it is made of to sag. Start by wiping the ceiling with a slightly damp microfiber cloth. This will remove dust. Then treat the surface with an aerosol cleaner. Apply it evenly and leave it on for several minutes according to the instructions. Next, use a dry microfiber cloth to remove any residue.

Seats

Select the cleaning agent according to the upholstery material. Inspect the seat for stains and prepare a suitable stain remover if necessary. First, clean out any stains, allow the seat to dry, and then proceed with the general cleaning. Avoid excessive moisture, as the interior can take up to two days or more to dry.

To begin with, dissolve the seat shampoo in hot water and shake it into a thick lather. Use only this foam. If necessary, shake the water again to get a new portion. You can also take a ready-made foam in a spray bottle. Apply the product evenly to the entire seat and leave it on for 3-5 minutes.

Then use a soft brush to lightly rub the foam into the upholstery. The seats made of natural or artificial leather should be wiped with a soft sponge. Complete the cleaning process by vacuuming the seat.

Plastic panels and door cards

Plastic in the car interior needs a cream polish or the same product in a spray. Before applying the polish, wipe all plastic parts with a damp microfiber to remove dirt and dust. After they are dry from the initial cleaning, apply the polish and wipe the plastic with a dry cloth. Make sure that the panels do not get too wet. This can cause a short circuit in the car's wiring.

The floor

When cleaning the floor, it is important to remove all mats and vacuum or rinse them separately. Rubber mats will tolerate treatment with soap and water. The floor should first be washed with a wet cloth and then wiped clean again with water and a special agent.

Windows
