The management of Real Madrid is skeptical about the possibility of extending the contract with Ukraine goalkeeper Andriy Lunin. Our compatriot has not yet responded to the offer to re-sign the agreement until 2029, which is why the Spanish superclub is developing a plan in case of a player transfer.

This is reported by the portal Defensa Central. According to it, Real Madrid will be ready to let Lunin go for 30 million euros in the current transfer window. At the same time, the Ukrainian can leave the Madrid club for free if he works out his current contract until next summer.

Real Madrid will try to persuade the Ukrainian to extend his contract but will not prevent him from moving to another team if he wants to. Lunin is expected to respond to the Madrid club's office in the coming days.

At the same time, on July 15, the goalkeeper ended his vacation ahead of schedule and began training with his teammates. The day before, Lunin said that he would like to continue his career at Real Madrid, but he needs more playing time. He also had a conversation with coach Carlo Ancelotti.
