A city vacation is a great opportunity to change the picture and reboot. Of course, it all depends on your goal: to relax or to spend your vacation in constant motion, exploring the sights of the local culture.

For those who prefer a relaxing vacation, Money Super Market travel experts have researched 75 of the most popular tourist cities to determine the most cozy. Each of them was evaluated according to nine factors, including the friendliness of the locals, light and noise pollution, traffic congestion, and air quality, Express writes.

The study found that the 10 most comfortable cities for vacation are in Europe. The top is headed by the capital of Iceland, Reykjavik.

First place: Reykjavik, Iceland

Reykjavik, the capital of Iceland, topped the list of the world's most relaxing cities to live in with a score of 85.5/100 due to its high air quality, abundance of green space, low pollution, friendly people, and low traffic.

The incredible city is easy to navigate due to its modest size. Reykjavik is home to a number of unique attractions, such as whale watching and the northern lights. However, the benefits of this picturesque location do not come cheap as prices in Iceland are notoriously high.

Second place: Tallinn, Estonia

Tallinn is one of the most underrated cities in the world, and its UNESCO-listed Old Town is one of the most beautiful places on the planet.

Coming in at number two in the top with a score of 82.3/100, Tallinn is an ideal option for those looking for a reboot. It's also an incredibly affordable destination, so budgetary constraints shouldn't be a problem.

Third place: Bergen, Norway

The third place went to the city with the cleanest air and lowest light pollution of all on the list - Bergen, Norway - with an overall calmness index of 80.8/100.

Nestled between Norway's spectacular mountains and fjords, Bergen offers visitors stunning views of natural landscapes and the North Sea. It is also home to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Bryggen Hanseatic Wharf.

Like most of its Scandinavian neighbors, Norway is a relatively expensive country to visit, which potential tourists should keep in mind when planning a trip. Another thing you shouldn't forget is an umbrella as Bergen is called the "city of rain" for a reason.
