Hearty Glutton salad from budget products: a recipe for a festive table
If you want to make a very hearty and budget-friendly salad, use pork or fillet as the base. And you can "dilute" the dish with fresh or canned vegetables, herbs, legumes, and onions.
Cook Olha Matviy shared on Instagram a recipe for a very satisfying pork meat salad with vegetable frying and pickled cucumbers.
Ingredients:
- Pork (shoulder or other) 500 g
- Bay leaf and peppercorns
- Salt to taste
- Carrots 2 pcs.
- Onions 2 pcs.
- Pickled cucumbers 10 gherkins
- Garlic 2 cloves
- Mayonnaise
- Dill
Method of preparation:
1. Cook the meat, cut it.
2. Cut the onion into thin rings and lightly sauté in vegetable oil. Cut the carrots into small strips and add to the onion, fry the carrots over medium heat until tender. Add salt 2 minutes before cooking. Transfer the roast to a colander and let it cool (set aside some for decoration).
2. Cut the cucumbers into small strips. Combine all the ingredients. Add the chopped herbs and season with a little salt. Add the garlic to the mayonnaise, pepper and season the salad, and mix. Put the salad on a dish and top with the roast.
