Gwyneth Paltrow found an original way to use the Oscar statuette: she props up the door with it
American actress Gwyneth Paltrow has found an unusual way to use her Oscar statuette in everyday life. She decided to prop up the door leading to the courtyard of the star's house in the Hamptons.
This became known from a video on the VOGUE channel. Gwyneth won the award in 1999 for Best Actress in a Leading Role in the movie Shakespeare in Love.
In the video 73 Questions with Gwyneth Paltrow, the interviewer visited the actress's home. During the conversation, the star showed the journalist the area around the house. Passing by the gate, the VOGUE representative noticed an interesting detail that kept it from closing. It was Gwyneth's Oscar. "He's propping up the door. It works great!" Paltrow laughed about the statuette (to see it, scroll to the bottom of the page).
Commentators appreciated this creative approach of the actress:
"I love that Gwyneth has finally reached the age where she can be out of touch with impunity, but in a funny way."
"She's propping up the door with her Oscar. Yes! It's great that she gets the joke."
"Gwyneth uses the Oscar as a doorstop, oh my god."
"That Oscar as a doorstop is next level."
"Oscar as a doorstop. Gwyneth is a legend."
