From mountains to lakes: the best camping destinations in Ukraine

With its diverse landscapes, picturesque views and rich cultural heritage, Ukraine is a great place for camping. Whether you like mountains, forests, lakes, or the sea, we have many beautiful destinations where you can enjoy nature and outdoor activities.

But don't forget that there are restrictions in place to keep you as safe as possible. For example, the areas close to the border with Belarus and Russia, as well as the eastern and southern directions where active hostilities are taking place, will not be available for camping. This means that the choice of locations will temporarily be focused on the western part of the country.

Zakarpattia region

This destination, located in the west of Ukraine, has many great places for outdoor recreation. Here you can visit the unique Synevyr Lake, the Gorgany Mountains, and the Svaliava Lakes.
