An unsuccessful palette can "distort" the natural complexion or "change" the proportions of the figure. No matter how sad it may sound, even the most expensive item with the wrong shade will look old-fashioned.

1. Turquoise

This color is a winner in marketing design. For example, the Tiffany shade is associated with the world-famous Tiffany & Co. jewelry house. But we recommend avoiding such colors in clothes. They make the looks too trivial, and if they have a gray tint, they emphasize imperfect skin tone and visually add age. What is the alternative? The color of freshly cut grass or pastel lime.

2. Dark lavender

Another shade that makes the skin look unhealthy, especially if you have a pale face: dark lavender will emphasize this and visually make you look older. Replace it with more "refreshing" and noble pastel lavender, plum or eggplant.

3. The color of the sea wave

A swimsuit or pareo in this color will be quite appropriate on the beach (especially if you are dark-skinned). But for everyday looks, it's not the best solution. The color of the sea wave looks "gray", and even if you "dilute" it with other colors, the outfit is unlikely to turn out organic. Replace it with a rich cornflower, emerald, or sapphire color (they will make your looks more interesting).

4. Mustard

The thing is that mustard looks "cheap" because of its overly bright warm undertone. And if a few years ago it was relevant, especially in summer and fall, now more delicate sunny yellow and vanilla have taken the pedestal. With alternative colors, outfits will be more effective.

5. Salmon

This color was adored by fashionistas of the 2010s. But its "glory" is in the past. We have to admit: salmon color is hopelessly outdated. In addition, the warm undertone visually adds extra volume. Fortunately, it will be easy to replace it: rely on dusty pink, pearl, or dirty pink.
