The compact Ford Puma is the American company's most affordable crossover. But Ford's engineers have done a good job on its suspension - the car passed an important road test.

Experts from Teknikens Värld tested the Ford Puma compact crossover in the so-called moose test and showed the process on their YouTube channel. The test is an acceleration in a straight line, a sudden change of trajectory in front of an unexpected obstacle and a return to the original direction of travel.

The test simulates a situation when a moose runs out in front of a car traveling at high speed, which must be bypassed. Hence the name. This is a common situation in Scandinavian countries.

However, the car's ability to handle such a situation is important all over the world. Any animal, child, cyclist or other vehicle can suddenly appear on the road.

To cope with the task, you need to accelerate to 72 km/h. This is the lower speed threshold for a successful test. However, the Ford Puma crossover coped with the test even at a higher speed of 78 km/h. Specialists noted the excellent chassis settings.
