A bold and stylish trend – capris combined with sandals – is back on the catwalks and streets. The retro tandem from the 2000s was once a favorite of the stars, but later the fashion for cropped pants passed, and everyone forgot about capris.

However, in 2024, you can take this hybrid of pants and shorts out of the closet, put on a light pair of sandals and shine. OBOZ.UA decided to show how modern fashionistas style the trend, which was described in the glossy Vogue.

Capri pants are pants about mid-calf length, which come in different cuts: straight, skinny, and flared. They go well with heeled, platform, or low-cut sandals, although this trend may seem too bold nowadays.

It doesn't matter what the fit of the capris is, because both retro models sitting on the hips and high-waisted variations have become fashionable.

It is noteworthy that fashionistas can even see full-fledged two-piece suits with cropped pants that replace trousers.

For short beauties, capris must end just below the middle of the lower leg, because this way they will not create the effect of "cut" legs and will not shorten the silhouette.

Sandals should match the style, not contrast with it. An elegant pair is suitable for a business look, while something informal can be worn with jeans.
