Exploded right next to an air defense vehicle: Kyiv's sky defenders showed how they shot down Russian Shaheeds. Video

While repelling another Russian attack, Kyiv's sky defenders destroyed two Shaheds. One of the enemy drones exploded near the Ukrainian military, damaging their vehicle.

The relevant videos were posted on the Facebook page of the 210th Separate Assault Regiment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Residents of the city were urged not to ignore the air raid.

"Our brothers-in-arms, who are holding the sky of Kyiv, destroyed two Shaheds during the Russian attack. One of them exploded right next to them, damaging a combat vehicle. The first video shows a machine gun burst, a flash of an enemy drone, and cheers after a successful downing. The other two videos show the destruction of the drone at close range," the statement said.

The published videos show the combat work of Ukraine's defenders, as well as the aftermath of a kamikaze drone explosion – the soldiers' vehicle was damaged. Fortunately, the soldiers are alive and well and continue to defend the skies of Ukraine's capital.

As a reminder, the terrorist country of the Russian Federation attacked Kyiv on the night of February 25 with the help of kamikaze drones. Air defense forces successfully operated in the capital, and the wreckage of a destroyed UAV fell in one of the districts.

As reported by OBOZ.UA, the Defense Forces repelled a combined Russian attack on peaceful regions of Ukraine on the night of February 25, shooting down six cruise missiles and 133 drones of various types. The aggressor used a total of 220 air attack weapons.
