The work on the Netflix film based on the series Peaky Blinders continues. And new details from the set appearred online.

Thus, Marie Claire Ukraine has named the full cast of the movie. The Oscar-winning Cillian Murphy will return to the lead role of Tommy Shelby. He was chosen the right company. Oscar and Golden Globe nominee Tim Roth, as well as BAFTA winner and Oscar nominee Barry Keoghan will star in it too. They will be accompanied by Dune star Rebecca Ferguson. The cast also includes Stephen Graham, Sophie Rundle, Ned Dennehy, Peggy Lee, Ian Peck and Jay Lycurgo.

In addition, Netflix has posted an official image of Keoghan portraying his character on its social media. In the picture, the actor, dressed in a distinctive cap, looks out of the truck cab. The name of the character and his story are still being kept secret.

The first shots from the set are already appearing online, as the shooting has already begun. Judging by the fact that Murphy has a bloody face, the movie will not lack action. And Rebecca Ferguson appears in the pictures with black hair, which means that she will ditch her signature red color for the role.

The plot takes place in Birmingham between 1919 and 1934. The story focuses on the family of Tom Shelby, who made their way from a street gang to the very top of society in the series. The film is directed by Tom Harper, and the script is written by the showrunner of the original show Stephen Knight.
