Oulanka, Finland

Located in the province of Lapland and Northern Ostrobothnia. The reserve was founded in 1956. And between 1982 and 1989 it was expanded.

One of the most famous tourist routes in the country extends for 82 kilometers. Karhunkierros or "Bear Trail" runs through picturesque forests and canyons. The duration of the hike: 4-6 days.

There is also a shorter direction - the Pieni Karhunkierros hiking trail. Here tourists will walk on a suspension bridge over the large river Vattumutka and see the 9-meter waterfall Jyrävä, the rumble of which can be heard at a great distance.

By the way, the park is home to more than 100 species of birds and rare butterflies. There are also unique wild orchids growing here. Travelers can also meet lynx and wolverine.
