Dumplings with cherries and cottage cheese: how to make colored dough

A food blogger with the nickname katia cooking showed on Instagram how she cooks dumplings with cherries. The cook notes that the dumplings will make you want to try them.
Ingredients
- Cherry juice – 400 ml
- Flour – 470 g
- Sugar – 70 gr
- Butter – 65 g
Ingredients for the filling
- Cottage cheese – 250 g
- Egg – 1 pc
- Vanilla – ½ tsp
- Sugar – to taste
- Cherries – 1 pc per dumpling
The method of preparation
1. Prepare the dough. Pour the cherry juice into a saucepan, add butter and sugar, and bring to a boil.
2. Immediately remove from the heat, add half the flour in two passes, and mix well with a wooden spatula. Leave to cool for 5 minutes.
3. Transfer to a floured surface and stir in the other half of the flour.
4. Cover with plastic wrap and leave to rest for 30 minutes.
5. Prepare the filling. Combine cottage cheese, egg, sugar, and vanilla.
6. Roll out the finished dough on a floured surface and cut out circles with a glass.
7. Put the filling and make the dumplings.
8. Boil in salted water for about 3-4 minutes after they rise to the surface.
