Don't buy them: Star Ukrainian makeup artist named three unnecessary makeup products

Ukrainian makeup artist Yehor Andriushyn, who creates unique looks for famous Ukrainian showbiz stars, told us what makeup products you shouldn't spend your money on. In addition, some of them can harm your skin.

The expert shared his recommendations on his Instagram page. He called his selection "the three most unnecessary makeup products.

Fixing spray

According to Andriushyn, this product does not have any effect. On the contrary, it can make your face look more radiant as if you've been wearing makeup for three hours. For really long-lasting makeup, the makeup artist recommends using powder or a matte, long-lasting foundation.

Makeup base

"I never use bases because I don't see any point in them. This is especially true for green, red, and purple bases," the expert says. Instead, the professional suggests taking care of moisturizing before makeup, as this will help create a barrier between makeup and skin.

Scrubbing wipes

"Yes, yes, when I started makeup, I also used them when I saw flakes on people's skin," Andriushyn admitted. However, the author of the video emphasized that scrubbing wipes have abrasive particles that create microtrauma on the skin, causing discomfort.

The celebrity makeup artist, who is often visited by Ukrainian stars, also posted stories where he appeared in front of the camera unusually. Andriushyn, who often tries on extravagant looks, posted photos and videos of himself without a drop of makeup. "My face after 13 hours of work," the makeup artist wrote.
