Dog handler names three dog breeds he would never keep at home
Professional dog handler Garrett Wing has named three dog breeds he would "never own" because of their size, smell, and temperament.
He shared a short video on the American Standard Dog Training YouTube channel, in which he talked about the disadvantages of these breeds.
Central Asian Shepherd Dog
Central Asian Shepherds are working dogs that are both brave, hardworking, and able to protect their owners.
The guard dog breed is traditionally used to protect flocks of sheep and goats. But since the presence of a flock is now very rare, this breed is not much of a use.
Bloodhound
The second on Garrett's list was the Bloodhound, a large hound bred to hunt deer, wild boars, and rabbits.
The breed can track human scents over very long distances, regardless of whether they are new or old. The breed is often used by law enforcement agencies.
However, Garrett said that this breed has "oily skin," which can make them "stink."
Chihuahua
The third on the list is the Chihuahua. The Mexican dog breed is the smallest in the world and is known as the "marsh dog."
The breed is known for frequently barking and aggressing at larger dogs. They are also difficult to train.
Garrett said: "If I needed a three-pound demon from the underworld that had no other purpose than to sit on my lap and bite everything within three feet of me, then I would take a Chihuahua," the dog handler said.
