Dog expert names three breeds that do not tolerate children well

Dog trainer Will Atherton has named three breeds that treat children poorly. The expert emphasized that he would never get them for his children.

In his opinion, the worst dog breeds for families are the Belgian Malinois, the Caucasian Shepherd, and the Argentinean Great Dane. In his video on TikTok, he explained why these dogs should be kept away from children.

Belgian Malinois

Despite the fact that the Belgian Malinois is very easy to train, Will believes that this breed is not suitable for families with children. They are very active and difficult to stop.

"They bite children, they hurt children, they have no off switch, and they want to be 'go, go, go' all the time," he says in his video.

Caucasian Shepherd Dog

According to the expert, any of the giant livestock guardian breeds can cause problems.

"Yes, they can be protective of the family, but they're much better suited to live outside on a farm. And if you try and bring them in the home, they may not have the patience or the ability to get away from children that they find frustrating," he explains. And as a result, it can lead to the dog biting on children.

Dogo Argentino

Will says he's heard many stories about Dogo Argentino not being good with children.
