Dodge's long-awaited low-cost model ready to hit the European market
The new Dodge Charger 2025 model year is a long-awaited muscle car that has already gone into production in the most inexpensive version with a base engine. And now perhaps the most American car is ready to enter the market outside the United States.
As Carscoops has learned, the 8th generation Dodge Charger will reach Europe in the second half of 2025. This is great news for fans of the classic American car industry.
It is known that the full range of Dodge Charger models will appear on both European and US markets, including a coupe, a sedan, an electric car and a basic version with a gasoline engine.
Production of the Dodge Charger Sixpack with an internal combustion engine has already started at the Windsor Assembly Plant in Ontario, Canada. This is still a test assembly of 100 units per day. The car is expected to go on sale by the summer of 2025.
The electric Dodge Charger Daytona will also go on sale in 2025. The car will have several all-wheel drive variants with 496 and 670 hp. The gasoline version will enter the market five months ahead of schedule. This is due to a slowdown in demand for electric vehicles.
