The production of a new Dodge Charger for the 2025 model year has been started. The long-awaited vehicle in standard gasoline version is an inexpensive car for fans of the brand.

According to Carscoops, the production of the Dodge Charger Sixpack with an internal combustion engine has started at the Windsor Assembly Plant in Ontario, Canada. This is still the initial stage of 100 units per day. The car is expected to go on sale by the summer of 2025.

The electric Dodge Charger Daytona will also go on sale in 2025. The car will have several all-wheel drive variants with 496 and 670 hp. The gasoline version will enter the market five months ahead of schedule. This is due to a slowdown in demand for electric vehicles.

The muscle car with an internal combustion engine will not receive a classic V8, but an inline 6-cylinder twin-turbo engine with a volume of 3 liters in 420 and 550 horsepower versions. The car will be equipped with an 8-speed automatic transmission ZF 880RE and all-wheel drive. The new Dodge Charger 2025 will be available in coupe and sedan bodies.

The price of the Dodge Charger is currently unknown. It is expected that the basic gasoline muscle car will cost about 35-40 thousand dollars, while the electric car will cost at least 59,000 dollars.
