Hundreds of Chinese soldiers have arrived in Belarus. Representatives of the People's Liberation Army of China intend to take part in a joint anti-terrorist training with Belarusians.

The training will take place from July 8 to 19. This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of Belarus.

The ministry said that the joint training of the Chinese and Belarusian military will allow for the exchange of experience and the coordination of units from both countries.

In addition, Belarus said that together with China, it wants to create a foundation for the further development of Belarusian-Chinese relations in the field of joint military training.

According to the Belarusian Gayun Telegram channel, the Chinese plane landed at the Baranovichi military airfield. The community also noted that the first element of these exercises for the 61st Fighter Air Base can be considered mastering the English language to understand "Chinese English" under stress (landing of a foreign aircraft) and further interaction in training after so many years of working with the Russians.

To recap, dictator Alexander Lukashenko said that the air defense forces of Belarus are on high alert, with Iskander missile systems and Polonez multiple launch rocket systems deployed to their positions. But at the same time, Minsk "is not going to get involved in any hostilities, because it knows what it will lead to."
