Ukrainian footballer may finish his career in London

London club Chelsea is going to send Ukrainian midfielder Mykhailo Mudryk on loan during the winter transfer window, thechelseachronicle.com reports, citing journalist Simon Phillips. According to the insider, the new agents of the 23-year-old Ukrainian national team player want to get him more playing time to get his career back on track.

"Mudryk's transfer to Chelsea from Shakhtar 18 months ago - a deal worth €100 million - looks like a terrible transfer now. Unfortunately, the pacey left winger has scored just seven goals and made five assists in 62 games for the Blues," the newspaper writes.

During a recent interview with The Guardian, Georgy Sudakov insisted that Mudryk is still an "incredible" player. In fact, the Shakhtar player said that the Chelsea winger could eventually win the Ballon d'Or.

The authors of the article believe that judging by what Mudryk has done so far at Chelsea, he is "a million miles away from becoming the best player in the world because there is simply no consistency in his game."

This season, Mykhailo has played in four matches for Chelsea, making one assist.

In total, since his move to London, Mudryk has taken part in 62 matches, scoring 7 goals and making 5 assists.
