Popular budget crossover Skoda Karoq very soon will get a replacement in the form of a completely different model. But before that, the manufacturer will make the car much more powerful and cooler. In any case, this is hinted at by a new photo.

Details have become known to Motor.es. The photo showed the new Skoda Karoq 2024. It is a mysterious prototype that shows interesting details. We see twin exhaust pipes at the back and special wheel rims.

These elements refer to the Cupra Ateca sports crossover, which is built on the same platform. It is equipped with a 300 hp powertrain. Perhaps, Skoda Karoq RS (potential name) will get the same output. The serial crossover will be distinguished by more stylish bumpers.

Or the company is testing something else under the Karoq body, which we will find out later. In any case, the former car will soon be taken out of production to give way to a more modern successor.

Earlier there was information that Skoda plans to introduce its next electric car called Elroq by the end of 2024. The crossover with a length of about 4.5 meters will get a spacious interior and wide functionality. It was also said that the car will replace Karoq in the model range.
