Bold design and good price: what impresses the new Hyundai Santa Fe SUV

Design

The first thing that strikes you about the Hyundai Santa Fe is its enormous size and unique design. The surface of each panel in the car is flat, and each part is connected at an almost perfect 90-degree angle.

The octagonal H-shaped headlights emphasize the front of the body, while the widened pentagonal wheel arches and matte paint complement the model's brutality.

The interior design deserves special attention. This model has more leather and aluminum trim elements than most BMWs. All seats are extremely comfortable, and the roofline creates a feeling of incredible space.

There are also two 12.3-inch touchscreens in the car - one for the digital instrument cluster and the other for the center display. There's also a third touchscreen underneath for the HVAC controls. At the same time, the infotainment system is flawless. It is simple and intuitive.

In addition, there are two wireless chargers in front of the center console - one for you and one for your passenger. The car also has a system that allows passengers in the rear row to access the center console.

Features

You'll be pleasantly surprised by the way the Hyundai Santa Fe handles on the road. The 2.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine replaces the naturally aspirated version from last year. It produces 277 horsepower and 421 newton meters of torque and is mated to an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission. Ultimately, the car can accelerate to 96 km/h in about 6.6 seconds.

Santa Fe also has light and responsive steering. It is easy to maneuver around the city at low speeds. The suspension is soft to the touch and absorbs bumps well. And even on the highway, the car is quiet. You can't hear the engine or road noise inside the cabin.

Price

In the American market, the SUV costs $35,365 as a base price. But the quality and reliability of the Hyundai Santa Fe more than justifies this price.

The Calligraphy model is the most expensive and can be purchased for $47,895.
